Aaron Boone Featured on “Yankees Fun Facts”

The 2019 season marks Manager Aaron Boone’s second at the helm for the Yankees…was named the 33rd manager in Yankees history on 12/4/17, signing a three-year contract through the 2020 season with a team option for 2021…

Boone is the 18th person to both play for, and manage, the Yankees.

Aaron has been ejected twice in 2019 (4/20 vs. Kansas City by 2B umpire Jerry Meals and 5/1 at Arizona by HP umpire Paul Emmel)…has six career managerial ejections.

In 2018, he guided the Yankees to a 100-62 record, the club’s best mark since going 103-59 in 2009 and the 20th 100-win season in franchise history…is one of six managers in Baseball history to lead his team to at least 100 wins in his rookie season at the helm…
