‘The Shoe’ is going to be rocking on Saturday when #2 Ohio State hosts #9 Penn State at 12:00 pm Eastern.
This week, all three of the Big Ten Conference television network providers will broadcast their respective pregame shows in and around Ohio Stadium in front of the huge noon kickoff.
- FOX’s BIG NOON KICKOFF, featuring former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, will be live and on the air from two locations: from 10 a.m. to 11 near the “Victory Bell” tower at Ohio Stadium; and from 11 a.m. until noon inside Ohio Stadium in the southwest corner of the field. Meyer is joined on set by host Rob Stone, Dublin, Ohio’s own Brady Quinn and former USC greats Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart.
- ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast from the campus of Ohio State University for a GameDay record 19th time. The show will originate at 9 a.m. from the south lawn area in front of St. John Arena and it will be Ohio State’s 46th game at a GameDay site, the second-most among all college programs. The show is hosted by Reece Davis and features former Buckeye captain and alum Kirk Herbstreit along with Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and Maria Taylor.
- BTN Tailgate, the home for Big Ten Conference football fans, will broadcast adjacent to the southeast “Victory Bell” tower at Ohio Stadium along the walkway to the RPAC beginning at 10 a.m. The show is hosted by Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Michelle McMahon.
Ohio State, undefeated at 10-0 and with a 7-0 record in the Big Ten East Division, will face it’s most difficult test of the season against a 9-1 (6-1 Big Ten East) Penn State team. This is the10th time in the 35-game series that the Ohio State-Penn State game features two Top 10-ranked teams.
FOX Sports will televise the game with Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft calling the action.
