- OF Kevonte Mitchell went 2-for-4 with a run scored and 2 RBI.

Triple-A Iowa
Iowa beat Nashville 6-5.
- RP Carl Edwards Jr. tossed 1.1 innings in relief, allowing two hits. Edwards struck out three and walked none while picking up the win.
- CF Ian Happ went 1-for-5 with a run scored and 1 RBI. Happ is only batting .217/.250/.304 through 5 games for Iowa.
- Cubs #20-ranked prospect, 2B Trent Giambrone went 2-for-5 with a run scored.
- RHP Trevor Clifton started and pitched only 3.0 innings, allowing three hits and an unearned run. Clifton struck out three and walked one.
