High-A Myrtle Beach
Pelicans beat Winston Salem 5-2.
- RHP Paul Richan picked up the win after 6 2/3 strong innings. Richan allowed just seven hits and one run while striking out seven. He has allowed just two earned runs over his last 2 starts (12 2/3 innings).
- 1B Cam Balego went 1-for-3 with a solo homer.
- OF Kevonte Mitchell went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and 1 walk.

Smokies beat Birmingham 9-4.
