Cubs Starting Pitching Over Last 10 Games Has Been More Than Incredible

Cubs starting pitching has looked really good over the last 10 games. Not just really good, exceptionally good. Jose Quintana has gone 7.0 innings in 3 straight games just to name one. As a whole, the Cubs starting rotation is 7-2 with a 1.39 ERA during this stretch.

Cubs starters have gone 64 2/3 innings in the last 10 games, allowing just 41 hits and 4 homers. The rotation has struck out 70 and walked 15 with a 0.86 WHIP during this time. Those marks all rank in the Top-3 amongst MLB teams from 4/11 to 4/23.

The pitchers have adjusted to the batters (at least for the Cubs). And there’s still a week left in April for the Cubs rotation to do more damage.

This has been a truly dominant stretch for Jose Quintana, Yu Darvish, Cole Hamels, Kyle Hendricks, and Tyler Chatwood. We would love to see a lot of stretches for the Cubs like these during the season.
