On Sunday, the Florida Gators defeated the Clemson Tigers 11-10 in a thrilling 13-inning game to advance to the College World Series.

After a shoving match between Gators pitcher Jac Caglianone and Tigers designated hitter Nolan Nawrocki, several ejections throughout the game, and more heroics, Florida’s center fielder Michael Robertson delivered the game-winning hit, driving in two runs with a double in the bottom of the 13th inning.

Clemson trailed 9-6 entering the ninth before Cam Cannarella hit a 3-run home run in the top of the inning, ultimately sending the game to extras. Cannarella also made a miraculous Willie Mays style catch with 2 outs in the bottom of the tenth to extend the game.

With the win, Florida improved their record to 33-28 and secured a spot in the College World Series. The Gators had previously won Game 1 of the series on Saturday, defeating Clemson 10-7.
