Former Illini defensive tackle Akeem Spence has a new NFL home.

Spence was previously with the Miami Dolphins in 2018. He played for the Illini from 2009 to 2012, finishing with 186 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Spence was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2013 NFL draft.
