
Jose Quintana has certainly rebounded after allowing 8 runs on April 5th against the Brewers. Quintana has picked up back-to-back wins, both shutouts.
Q struck out 11 in 7.0 innings last Thursday and just struck out 7 last night in 7.0 innings. He’s allowed just 10 combined hits and 1 walk during the stretch.

As a result from the recent success, Quintana currently leads the Cubs in innings pitched, strikeouts, quality starts, and wins. His 14 consecutive scoreless innings mark is the third-longest streak for any MLB starter this season. That’s pretty good.
The Cubs starting rotation has been on fire lately too. Cubs’ starters ERA combined in their last 7 games is 2.03. This has been a nice stretch that we would certainly like to see multiple times this season.
