On Sunday, Texas A&M secured a spot in the 2024 College World Series with a 15-9 victory over Oregon.

The Aggies rallied from an early deficit, overcoming a strong start by Oregon, who hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the first inning. Oregon pushed their lead to 7-2 in the third inning and 8-4 in the sixth.

Despite the Ducks’ initial offensive surge, Texas A&M’s resilience and offensive power proved decisive. The Aggies capitalized on a Kaeden Kent grand slam, four bases-loaded walks and bases-loaded hit by pitch in a nine-run seventh inning disaster for the Ducks.

Texas A&M Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle has now led the Aggies to two College World Series appearances (2022, 2024) in his first three years at the helm of the program.
