Justin Jefferson, the star wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, has agreed to a four-year, $140 million contract extension with the team. This deal makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, with an average annual salary of $35 million. The contract includes $110 million in guarantees and features a signing bonus of $88.743 million, also the highest for a non-quarterback in the league.

Jefferson’s new contract will keep him with the Vikings through the 2028 season. He expressed his gratitude to the team and his excitement for the future in a statement, emphasizing his commitment to being a leader and a cornerstone for the team.

Jefferson, a three-time Pro Bowler, has been a key player for the Vikings since he was drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has consistently been among the league’s top receivers, leading the NFL in receptions and receiving yards in 2022.
