Cubs right-handed pitching prospect Jeff Passantino is an incredible story and fun to watch.
Passantino was picked with the very last selection in the 2017 MLB draft. Now Passantino is really heating up and is a strikeout machine.
He started the year with Single-A South Bend and was named a Midwest League All-Star. He was promoted and pitched one game for High-A Myrtle Beach. Then days later, filled in for Adbert Alzolay in Triple-A Iowa, dominating along the way. He’s now at Double-A Tennessee.
