
Willson Contreras had his MRI on Monday following a hamstring injury sustained in Saturday’s game. The verdict: not good, but could be worse.

That would mean Contreras would be back in September, just in time for the playoffs. Hopefully, his injury rehab stays within that timeline in order to be back for when the Cubs need Contreras most.
